About Us
Lakes Need Water is a group of Lower Lakes community members, all volunteers, who are deeply concerned about the water management of the Lower Lakes.Â
Our group has collected information from January 2009 about Lake Alexandrina, Lake Albert and the Coorong so that people have a starting point for learning about the region, learning about the drought, and being informed to decide the future.
Until the Lower Lakes estuarine past is acknowledged and the affects of the barrages recognized, there cannot be a 'healthy' environmental outcome for the Lower Lakes.
