Lakes Need Water is a group of Lower Lakes community members who are deeply concerned about the crisis confronting the Lakes.  Our group also became alarmed at the lack of objectivity and misinformation being circulated by many web sites, and by special interest groups falsely claiming to represent the views of the community.   In contrast, facts on our web site are backed up by reliable reports from reputable organizations such as CSIRO, the Murray Darling Basin Authority or the South Australian Government, with the sources clearly stated.  We hope you find our site useful.  If you'd like to contact us email us.
